Walter Harvey is a highly experienced agent with many production awards and many special designations. Real Estate is his chosen career since 1981 and has vast experience in this profession. He has assisted both Buyers & Sellers in single-family homes, mobile homes as well as multi-unit apartment buildings and raw land in traditional transactions as well as 1031 tax-deferred exchanges. He has also negotiated commercial leases for both landlords and tenants.
In “down markets” Walter has successfully helped sellers when their loans exceeded the fair market value of their homes by negotiating “short-sales” and preserving the seller’s credit and dignity. For five years, Walter was the listing agent for 14 lenders for their REOs (foreclosure properties) and was one of three brokers handling Freddie Mac’s REO on Oahu Hawaii. Walter has sold over 700 homes.
Walter entered real estate and was licensed in California in 1981. He has earned many National Association of REALTORS© (NAR) recognized Designations & Certifications: C2EX, CPRES, CRS, GRI, SRES, AHWD, BPOR, e-PRO, A-REO, CDPE, CNHS, MOM, RCC, RSPS, SFR, and TRC. Walter was a member of the Hawaii Real Estate Commission from 2009-2013.
Walter achieved the Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist certification to assist administrators, personal representatives, heirs and attorneys in the marketing of real property in estates.
Walter is a North Carolina Commissioned Notary Public and a National Notary Association Certified Loan Signing Agent. Walter is a North Carolina native, Vietnam veteran, a licensed commercial pilot and an avid fly-fisherman.
