My husband and I arrived in the Lake Norman area nearly 20 years ago via Akron/Cleveland, Ohio and then Pittsburgh. It felt like home almost immediately because we found the people so friendly. I’m not sure if it is the abundant sunshine or the pretty lake that creates such a sense of community and happiness. Not only have we watched our three beautiful children grow and blossom in Cornelius but also have watched this area grow into a very amenity-rich community that is suitable for all lifestyles, young and old. As with many families…most of my husband’s family followed us here!
